it is understood that Wang Shouyi shisanxiang condiment group co., ltd in Zhumadian, Henan province applied for registration of the trademark shisanxiang in September 1999. After the preliminary announcement of the Trademark Office, Yongxing Condiment Factory in Dingtao County, Shandong Province raised an objection. The Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board successively rejected the objection of the factory and registered the "Thirteen Fragrances" trademark. As a result, Yongxing Condiment Factory took the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board and Wang Shouyi Group to court. The court held that "Thirteen Fragrances" became a unique name in the field of condiments and became a brand known to the public because of the hard work of Mr. Wang Shouyi and Wang Shouyi Thirteen Fragrances Condiments Group in Zhumadian City. At the same time, the materials issued by China Food Industry Association and China Condiment Association also show that "Thirteen Fragrances" are not legal or have been clearly adopted by national standards and industry norms, and the court ruled that the trademark of "Thirteen Fragrances" should be registered.
