Yunjiao Village, Huguang Town, Mazhang District, Zhanjiang City is an old revolutionary village. It is located 1.7 kilometers north of the Tanpai Village section of Huguang Town on the Yellow Sea Line of the Provincial Highway, and west of the Huguangyan Scenic Spot of the World Geopark area 3 kilometers. In 2000, under the leadership of five cadres from the village committee, more than 20 households in the village participated in the experiment of growing dragon fruit. Through the technical guidance of professors from Guangdong Ocean University, village cadre Peng Haoliang has planted more than 11 acres of dragon fruit, which has brought great economic benefits. More than 20 merchants come to Yunjiao Village to purchase dragon fruit. The village has also cooperated with Hong Kong, Shanghai and other companies have signed purchase and sale intention contracts, and market prices have been improving. Peng Qicai, secretary of the village committee, told the author that the dragon fruit in Yunjiao Village has obtained the registered trademark of "Green Dragon", and the product has become a brand in the domestic fruit market and is favored by domestic consumers. Walking in the front and back of Yunjiao Village, on the pastoral ridge, all you can see are the green branches and pink pitayas. Today, Yunjiao Village has become Zhanjiang’s veritable “Hometown of Dragon Fruit.”
