Matters needing attention in the purchase of home improvement wires
I see that many decorated TXs don't know much about the wires used-I know a little about wires because of the nature of my work-and I want to tell you that there are two kinds of wires on the market: national standard and non-standard. As the name implies, the national standard means that all the performance indexes of this product meet the national standard, so you can use it with confidence. Generally speaking, GB conductor has the following characteristics.

Length standard

The national standard line is 100+-5 meters per roll. If the thread you bought at home does not reach this length, it is seamless. There are many people on the forum who buy 50 meters of thread. Obviously, the decoration company is cheating you.

Steel wire diameter and thickness

The actual thickness of GB wire should be similar to that of the wire you want to buy, usually a few tenths of a millimeter. The color of good copper core wire is purple, and the yellow one is inferior.

Insulation layer thickness

Generally, the insulation layer of national standard lines is thinner than that of non-marking lines (non-marking lines are mostly made thick because the line diameter can't be reached), and it is very uniform (non-marking lines will be thick while thin). The insulation layer of national standard wires is generally difficult to clip off with nails, while non-standard wires are easy to clip off, because the insulation layer of non-standard wires is generally made of recycled plastics.

Trademark authentication

The national standard line has trademarks printed by regular machines, including origin, trademark, contact number, product name and length. One of the most important features is length. In the length column of the conventional national standard, the machine is marked with 100 meter. If this column is blank or handwritten, it is not marked. The trademark of GB Bank bears the national compulsory 3C certification mark. If there is no such mark, please do not use unmarked lines.

Cost comparison

The price without marking is more suitable than the national standard line, but the length is seriously reduced. In fact, it is much more cost-effective to buy national standard wire than seamless wire, and all indicators of seamless wire are much worse than national standard wire, such as rated current capacity, aging time and insulation grade.

Household electricity safety

The house is our life's hard work. In the future, there will be more and more household electricity consumption and more and more electrical appliances. Therefore, when selecting wires, it is necessary to use national standard wires, and it is best to choose wires with a larger diameter, so that there is no need to add additional wires for adding some large electrical appliances in the future.
