You can apply as a natural person or a legal person. Natural persons must attach a copy of their passport or ID card, and legal persons must attach a copy of their business license.

2. Materials required for U.S. trademark application

1. Trademark registration power of attorney. The applicant must sign and seal the power of attorney.

2. Applicant’s qualification certification materials: If applying in the name of a company, attach a copy of the business license; if applying in the name of an individual, attach a copy of the ID card or passport.

3. Clear trademark pattern (1 copy), correct image size processing; electronic version of the pattern.

4. List the goods or services sought to be registered and indicate the trademark category. Supplement: Regarding the differences and limitations of trademark categories, on the US Trademark Office website, there are generally three major categories for trademark applications: TEAS Plus form: $225, TEAS Reduced Fee form: $275, TEAS Regular form: $325. Generally, the TEAS Plus form is chosen because it is the most affordable. Of course, these categories are also very different. TEAS Plus form has several more restrictions than the other two categories. Its subcategories can only be selected from the catalog, and you cannot name your own subcategories. And you have to pay in advance, and you have to make a statement about the trademark, for example, you have no requirements for the font, color of the trademark, etc.

5. The first date of use of the trademark overseas and in the United States (documentary proof is not required); if the customer's trademark has not been used in the United States, the customer should prepare a "Certificate of Intention to Use".

6. If you have priority under the Paris Convention, please list in detail the goods or services involved in the priority and relevant certificates. Priority is granted within six months of the first application.
