Qi Dequan: Born in May, 1958, A Dai Village, Mengyang River, lianghe county, dehong autonomous prefecture. Qi Dequan, who was deeply influenced by Dai culture since childhood, began to learn the performance and production of cucurbit silk with his grandfather and uncle at the age of 10. He always takes his cucurbit silk with him when he goes out riding and herding cattle every day. Whenever he is free, he plays the songs he just learned one after another. When he grew up, Qi Dequan became a worker in the pump room of Lianghe Sugar Factory. At that time, there was always wonderful cucurbit music in the air of sugar factories. Qi Dequan put all his thoughts on cucurbit silk. He kept wandering among the people, learning the skills of making and playing various national musical instruments. The cucurbit silk in his hand and the music he plays are always better than those of ordinary people.
With all his skills, in the 1980s, Qi Dequan walked out of the mountains and came to Kunming, where he founded the "Qi Dequan Hulusi Art Studio". With my love for cucurbit silk and my solid foundation from childhood, I have innovated the playing skills of cucurbit silk, creatively adopted new methods in the production of cucurbit silk, expanded the range of cucurbit silk, endowed Dai family with more expressive forms and space, produced musical instruments with the trademark of "Qi Dequan", created one new cucurbit silk song after another, and recorded and released one. He once played and led the cucurbit flute in the dance drama "Water-splashing Festival" and the opening ceremony of the first international tourism and art festival, and recorded the album "Affectionate cucurbit flute". He, Yang Zhiyu and Li Chunhua * * * compiled the first set of audio course of Hulusi Bawu in China and the supporting VCD "Dai Style Charm".
On the afternoon of September 16, 2008 10, Mr. Qi Dequan, a famous national and folk artist, a master of fenugreek dance production and performance, and vice president of Fenugreek Dance Professional Committee of China National Orchestra Society, died unfortunately in Kunming due to a sudden cerebral hemorrhage, which drew a regrettable full stop for his short 50 years. The reporter came to Qi Dequan's home in Kaiyuan Community of Kunming early yesterday morning. Cherish the memory of this China "Hulusi King" with friends and relatives who came from all directions when they heard the news. It is reported that the farewell ceremony of Mr. Qi Dequan's body is scheduled to be held at 9: 00 am on the 20th at the funeral home of Kunming Oil Pipe Bridge.
Li Zhongpei: Qi Dequan's first teacher. 1955 was born in A Dai Village, Mona Village, Mandong Town, lianghe county, Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province. I loved music since I was a child, and I was deeply influenced by local celebrities, folk artists and palaces when I was a child. I learned a variety of instrumental music such as erhu, bamboo flute and cucurbit silk. 1972 joined the work in September, engaged in cultural and artistic work-performer for more than 30 years. Gong, an actor of the National Song and Dance Troupe 1980, was awarded as a young cucurbit player of the Dai nationality by four national ministries and commissions. When Qi Dequan knew it, he wrote to the palace asking him to learn cucurbit silk. After receiving the letter, Gong Quanguo wrote back: You are too far away from Lianghe mangshi. I introduced you to my brother, Li Zhongpei from the county art troupe. He systematically studied wind music. At that time, Qi Dequan worked as a worker in Lianghe Sugar Factory. Through the introduction of Gong, he and I learned cucurbit silk together. I systematically taught him to learn the breath skills of bamboo flute, basic knowledge of music and national music theory. Combining the breath, skills and advantages of bamboo flute with the characteristics and styles of cucurbit silk, I have had several classes every week for more than three years. On the basis of folk playing cucurbit flute, through a period of study, his playing skills and music theory have advanced by leaps and bounds, forming a unique style. Finally, at the beginning of 1990, an album with the theme of Hulusi and Bawu appeared. His unique style created the gourd silk.
Li Chunhua: Born in Yunnan, he studied folk musical instruments with his grandfather and father when he was young. When I was studying in Kunming Normal School, I studied music theory and playing cucurbit flute and bawu under Mr. Wang Shaolu, and then I was admitted to Yunnan Art College for further study, collecting folk music materials many times. So far, I have been engaged in the research and performance of cucurbit flute and Bawu for more than ten years. In March, 2000, Fiona Fang Publishing House published a personal monograph "Practical Course of Hulusi Bawu". In September of the same year, he recorded his solo album De Ang Mountain in the Festival, and in April 2002, Yunnan Ethnic Culture Audio-visual Publishing House published his personal teaching trip How to Play the Hulusi and Bawu Well.
Ma Yijun: My major in college is weapons manufacturing. 1997 When he was first assigned to work in a large enterprise in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, he was full of energy and wanted to make some achievements in his professional field. However, life is not what he imagined. Complex personnel disputes and inefficient work style in enterprises make him feel that there is a big gap between reality and ideal. As a man, he can't even provide a nest for his family because of the mechanism. All this made him feel more and more depressed. 1999, he traveled to Yunnan alone after work and accidentally heard the unique cucurbit music in Yunnan. The gentle and elegant music of Hulusi, like nature, suddenly penetrated into his heart, and he was deeply attracted! His buried freedom, romance, enthusiasm and desire to return to simplicity were all inspired by Hulusi at this moment, so he bought the first Hulusi in his life, found out the address of the Hulusi master Qi Dequan, and made a special trip to visit the teacher.
Hulusi has since become his best companion to release passion and pain. 200 1 bid farewell to the original unit and do computer marketing, industrial projects, advertising planning, etc. , but all failed. Fortunately, he still accompanied him to this world with a gourd silk, and he insisted on learning to play in his spare time every day. Hulusi was his only spiritual sustenance at that time, and he played to soothe his soul.
