According to the provisions of the Trademark Law, licensing others to use patents or trademarks must be filed with the State Intellectual Property Office or the Trademark Office within a number of months from the effective date of the licensing contract.

Patent implementation licenses and trademark use licenses must be filed within three months from the date of signing.

Patent implementation license filing is with the State Intellectual Property Office.

Trademark license registration is filed with the Trademark Office.
