The main cases include:

The drug crime case heard by the Hunan Provincial Higher People's Court involving 16 defendants including Zhuo Zucheng manufacturing, selling and transporting 2,300 kilograms of methamphetamine;

The Intermediate People’s Court of Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province heard the robbery and kidnapping case involving Zheng Dong and other 29 defendants who hijacked more than 10 Hong Kong businessmen at Luohu Port;

The Intermediate People’s Court of Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province heard the case of “ "Three Mahu", Ma Bingbing tried by Lanzhou Intermediate People's Court of Gansu Province, Chen Haikun and other organized and led triad cases tried by Xiamen Intermediate People's Court of Fujian Province;

Tianjin First Intermediate People's Court tried Pan Weijian's loan fraud of 600 million yuan, Lu Youqiang's contract fraud case of 70 million yuan heard by the Guangzhou Intermediate People's Court of Guangdong Province, and the economic crime case of Lu Sheng smuggling general goods of 1 billion yuan tried by the Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court;

< p>Beijing No. 2 Intermediate People's Court tried a deputy provincial-level local official for accepting bribes, and the source of a huge amount of property was unknown. Niu Andong, a senior police officer in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, filed a case for bending the law for personal gain. Wu Lin, a senior judge at the Sichuan Higher People's Court, accepted bribes. The Intermediate People's Court of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province tried the major official crime case of Xiao Fang, a division officer, accepting bribes, and Li Lin embezzled 130 million yuan of state-owned assets after investigation and conclusion by the Jilin Provincial People's Procuratorate.

Many defendants who were sentenced to death in the first instance had their sentences reduced to death or life imprisonment after their second-instance defense and intervention in the death penalty review process. Among them, Sun Weijun, who was prosecuted by the People's Procuratorate of Tangshan City, Hebei Province, committed a loan fraud of more than 30 million yuan. He was acquitted of the case, and also represented and won the case against financial institutions such as Taiyuan Branch of China Construction Bank, Pingdingshan Branch of Agricultural Bank of China, etc., which were finally judged by the Supreme People's Court due to crimes committed by bank employees, resulting in mutual litigation between financial institutions requesting the redemption of deposit certificates and claiming rights to bills. Civil cases, a case in which a couple’s unauthorized transfer of a huge amount of equity was invalid before the Higher People’s Court of Zhejiang Province, a case involving a 239 million yuan shareholder rights dispute between a company in Chengdu and Changgang Group, which was finally heard by the Higher People’s Court in Shanxi Province, Beijing Niu Intellectual property rights cases involving Lanshan Winery’s “Beijing Chun” trademark infringement, etc.
