A Qing poet Wu Yu wrote in "Pearl Spring" that the Pearl Spring is located at the site of Bagong Mountain, hence its name.

Pearl Spring is also known as Du Quan, Xiangquan and Shouquan. Ming Jiajing's "Shouzhou Zhi" contains this spring: "Every time people hear the sound, the spring will surge, which is called a small surge. If it is Duh, the spring water will be rich, because it is named Duh Spring.
