Third parties destroy family happiness and threaten social stability. (1) If the nature of the third party's behavior and the circumstances are minor, it will be condemned by social morality and does not need to be severely punished by law. (2) If the nature of the third party’s behavior and the circumstances are serious, the legal liability that the third party shall bear may include: 1. Stop the infringement. If there is a third party in a bigamous or cohabiting relationship, the relationship should be terminated and the continued infringement of the legal rights of the spouse should be stopped. 2. Make an apology. If a third party's behavior harasses the legal spouse's normal work and life and causes mental harm to him or her, he should apologize. 3. Return the property. If a third party improperly accepts property and infringes upon the legal property rights of the spouses, the property must be returned. 4. Compensation for losses, including material damage compensation and mental damage compensation. If a husband unknowingly raises a child born to his wife and a third party, the husband has the right to demand compensation for material and mental damages from the third party. 5. Public security administrative penalties. 6. Criminal liability. If the third party constitutes bigamy, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than two years or criminal detention.
