Basic registration process
Create an account → fill in company information → fill in credit card and bank account number → fill in store information → perform identity verification and address verification
(1) Create an account
①Click the registration link and click "createyourAmazonaccounts". Do not enter your email and password directly when registering a new account;
②When registering a new account, Amazon will provide you with Send an email containing the verification code by email_If you fail to receive it, please try a few more times;
③Company name: If the legal company name is too long, it is recommended that there be no spaces between characters, and the province and city can be omitted. Write the company name
(2) Fill in the company information & personal information
①Who is the "beneficiary"?
Is the beneficial owner directly or indirectly Own or control the business by owning more than 25% or more of the equity or voting rights of the company. In order to avoid unnecessary trouble, it is recommended to establish a company entity with a simple equity structure, such as 100 sole proprietorship or 90 and 10.
②Legal representative identity information: If it is a long-term valid ID card, please fill in the farthest date within the optional range_Please fill in the name of the legal representative in Chinese characters.
Warm suggestion: If the ID card of the main contact person is about to expire, it is recommended to replace it with a new ID card before registering.
① Company business license address or actual business address: Please fill it in according to the requirements. Please fill it in Chinese (Chinese characters)_If you fill in the wrong format, the system will pop up the corresponding prompt (picture above).
Warm suggestions: 1. The address must be complete and clear; 2. Fill in Chinese characters and do not write typos; 3. You can search on the map first to see if the address you filled in can be found; 4. Please pay attention to the registration interface "Red letter" prompt; 5. 1. Before filling in the credit card information, please check:
① For credit cards that can be used for international payments, you need to confirm that the payment function in the currency of the country of sale is enabled (for example, when registering for the North American site, the credit card should support payment in US dollars)
②The card is still valid (not expired) and has sufficient available credit
③There are no restrictions on online shopping or mail order payment
2. Charge address : The address must be the same as the billing address reserved by the bank for the credit card statement
3. The North American/Japanese/Australian credit card holder and the account registrant do not need to be the same person, and personal credit cards can also be used for company accounts; For European credit card information, it is recommended to use the credit card belonging to the legal person/beneficiary
4. Which credit cards are accepted?

(3) Fill in the receiving bank account number of the credit card machine
There are three methods to choose from for the receiving bank account:

(4) Store and product information
① Can the store name be updated later?
Yes. You can provide a new company display name by accessing the Settings tab of your seller account.
②What is UPC?
In most cases, Amazon will require sellers to provide industry standard product codes, such as Universal Product Code (UPC, or ISBN for book products?)

③Why provide trademark information?
Amazon Brand Registration can help you protect your registered trademark and create an accurate and trustworthy experience for buyers. Currently, both non-brand sellers and brand sellers can register for Amazon seller accounts.
(5) Identity verification
①First upload the front and back of the ID card and the photo/color scan of the business license
②If If you see a red information correction page when submitting, please check the email in your registered email stating the reason for failure and resubmit as required. There will be three chances to resubmit.
③Uploaded documents must be clear and readable_Black and white copies, screenshots are not accepted_P pictures are not accepted
It should be noted that ID cards are prone to reflection when photographed. Please try to take clear, bright and readable pictures_and the file is less than 10MB. The supported formats are png, tiff, tif, jpg, jpeg, pdf
After identity verification, video calls and postcards will also appear. verify. You need to make a reservation in the backend by yourself. A yellow box appears during the reservation time to indicate the available reservation time. After completing the reservation, you will receive an email containing more details within 24 hours. This email will confirm your video verification appointment time, and you can cancel or change the appointment.
The picture above shows the specific document requirements for video verification. First, the company’s legal representative is required to attend the meeting. If you are not the legal representative of the company, you must obtain the company's investment rights to act on behalf of the legal representative, and you must bring the originals of the following documents to the meeting:
① Valid ID of the legal representative of the company "Issued by the government and with a photo).
② Your own valid ID card "Issued by the government and with a photo".
③A smartphone or tablet with the Alipay application installed.
We will verify that your employer name matches the company name associated with your sales account through a Housing Allowance Lookup or Social Security Lookup. After getting it, fill in the address verification code on the postcard into the OTP column of the registration interface, and the video verification result will be displayed.
(6) Identity verification result (email notification)

After you complete and successfully pass the verification, please log in to SellerCentral and complete the corresponding operations on each site to open an "Open a Store on Amazon" account.
The North American site needs to provide tax information; Japan/Australia needs to check the deposit account information; the European site has a chance to trigger a utility bill review after entering SellerCentral.
The last is the identity verification result. There will be three situations in one ***.
① After successfully passing the review, you can log in to multiple sites. Currently, 13 sites are opened with one click;
② The submitted documents do not meet the specifications and can be changed and resubmitted;
③Account information cannot be verified and account registration failed. For example, if the identity information does not match or the business license is fake, new information needs to be compiled and re-verified.
