In the thirty-sixth year of the Republic of China (1947), Li Xinan, a farmer from Asi Village, Yongxiang Town, Luochuan County, brought back more than 200 apple saplings from Lingbao, Henan Province, becoming the first person to grow apples in Luochuan, and apples became the main crop for local farmers to support their families and become rich.
From 65438 to 0986, Luochuan was recognized as a high-quality apple base by the Ministry of Agriculture.
In 1990s, apples became the main source of income for farmers in Luochuan.
