(1) Process of ICBC's U-Shield:
1. Users register with the bank with their ID cards and cards to open online banking, and fill in the application form for electronic banking registration.
2. After applying for U-Shield, please ask the lobby manager to demonstrate the use, installation and download process.
(2) There are three steps to use U Shield:
Step 1: Install the driver. If it is the first time to use personal online banking on a computer, please refer to the ICBC Personal Online Banking System Setup Guide to adjust the computer settings first, and then install the U Shield driver. Drivers of different brands of U Shield can only be used in this brand. If you want to install by CD-ROM, please run the U-Shield CD-ROM and select "System Upgrade" on the main page of installation. The system will automatically detect and prompt to install the patch. After installing the patch, please select "driver installation" to install the U shield driver.
Step 2: After downloading the certificate information and applying for U Shield, you can entrust the teller of our branch to help you download the personal certificate information to U Shield, or you can log in to ICBC's personal online banking and enter "Customer Service-U Shield Management-U Shield Self-download" to download the certificate information. Please make sure that the U shield is connected to the USB interface of the computer before downloading. If the download is unsuccessful, please go to the counter.
Step 3: If you need to handle external payment services such as transfer, remittance, payment, etc. after logging in to personal online banking with U-Shield, you only need to insert U-Shield into the USB interface of the computer according to the system prompt, enter the U-Shield password, and it will be verified by the banking system.
