After liberation, the newly designed "Double Happiness" cigarette label was produced by Nanyang Brothers Tobacco Company Shanghai Factory (transferred to Shanghai Cigarette Factory in 1950s) and Hankou Factory (changed to Wuhan Cigarette Factory in June 1968+0 1). On the main and auxiliary editions, there are four girls dancing happily with ribbons. There is a square flower basket on the left and a round flower basket on the right. There is a flying butterfly on the top of each flower basket. In the middle is a bright red word "Xi" symbolizing warm and auspicious celebration and peace. There are five small lanterns on the upper part, which are marked with the words "Red", "Double", "Xi", "Xiang" and "Smoke" respectively.
The "Double Happiness" cigarette label produced by Shanghai Cigarette Factory in 1960s and 1970s, the main and secondary editions all have pictures of two peasant brothers wearing straw hats, two PLA soldiers waving "Red Book" and two people holding cymbals to celebrate together. Since the late 1970s, it has become a joyful scene in which two Korean girls are dancing with fans, two Han girls are dancing with long ribbons, and two Yi boys are playing bamboo flutes.
The "Double Happiness" cigarette label pattern produced by Hong Kong Nanyang Brothers Tobacco Co., Ltd. (formerly Nanyang Brothers Tobacco Company Hong Kong Factory) has not changed for decades, and the word "Happy" is big red on the main and auxiliary editions. 1997, in order to celebrate the return of Hong Kong to the motherland, the factory made a banner (the whole outer packaging box). The main and auxiliary versions of the banner are all beautiful night scenes of Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong, with bright lights and gorgeous fireworks.
