How to use the patent number of cosmetics to check the authenticity

1. The patent number can only prove that the product is patented, but does not necessarily prove that the product is genuine.

2. How to identify the authenticity of cosmetics:

Step one: read the text. For domestic sales, standard simplified Chinese characters should be used instead of traditional Chinese characters or other characters. The height of the font is generally stipulated and cannot be less than 1.8 mm. The fonts are printed clearly and will not fade.

Step 2: Look at the country of origin. For imported products from abroad, the country or place of origin should be marked. Then based on the judgment of the country's national conditions, for example, if the price of French cosmetics is very low, it is basically fake. The labor cost plus transportation fee and tax cannot be cheap.

Step 3: Check whether there is a health license approval number for imported cosmetics. Use this document number to conduct an online search to find relevant information and check whether the information is consistent with cosmetics.

Step 4: Check if there is a dealer. For domestic sales, there should be corresponding dealers in China selling the products. After checking, you can query the relevant information of the dealers for further determination.

Step 5: CIQ, which is China Inspection and Quarantine Mark. After peeling off the CIQ logo on the genuine cosmetics packaging, you can see the nine-digit serial number.

Generally speaking, fake products will not have the CIQ mark, and parallel imports will definitely not have the CIQ mark. For some fake products with the CIQ logo, when tearing off the CIQ logo, it is difficult to tear it off completely; even after tearing off, the nine-digit serial number is behind the logo, not on the packaging of the cosmetics.
