There are roughly three reasons why CCB's credit card is frozen, one is overdue, the other is risk control, and the third is abnormal card status.
1. expired credit card:
The only way to thaw is through repayment, but it does not mean that it can be thawed immediately after repayment. This depends on your overdue repayment time. CCB mainly takes 90 days overdue as the watershed, which is divided into two situations.
Payment is usually made within 90 days after the deadline. As long as the minimum repayment amount is enough, the system can unfreeze the card itself, but it takes 3~7 working days. If the repayment time exceeds 90 days, all the arrears must be paid off. After paying off, you need to apply to the bank for thawing, and then the bank will decide whether to unfreeze you according to your actual situation.
Second, the credit card is controlled by the wind:
This is mainly caused by cashing out. If you are not cashing out subjectively, you can call the credit card customer service center of China Construction Bank to explain the situation and apply for credit card unfreezing.
CCB may ask you to provide proof of consumption, such as credit card receipt. If it cannot be provided, it is unlikely to thaw. If it can be provided, it will usually be thawed in 3~7 working days.
3. Abnormal card status:
For example, if your credit card is stolen and the bank finds that the card status is abnormal, it will temporarily freeze your credit card to reduce losses. In this case, you can directly call CCB credit card to ask for thawing. Generally, the bank will thaw after processing.
The consequences of overdue CCB credit cards are as follows:
First, if the repayment is overdue for many times, the bank will think that it has no repayment ability and freeze the credit card. At this time, you need to pay in full, call customer service and ask for thawing. In this way, the amount may be reduced, but if there are not many overdue times, the general customer service will unfreeze.
Second, overdue repayment will affect users' personal credit problems. If it is serious, it will have a serious impact on future credit card applications and loans (car loans and mortgages).
If the cardholder only happens to be overdue occasionally, it will generally not have a great impact if he repays in full and on time afterwards. If the applicant's credit is seriously overdue, then he will definitely apply for personal credit. According to bank regulations, if the borrower has bad credit records for three or more times in two years, he will not be able to apply for a loan.
