The repayment date of a credit card is not absolutely fixed and is determined based on the statement date. The billing date of a credit card is fixed every month, and each bank has different regulations on how many days after the billing date is the final repayment date. Therefore, if you want to change the final payment date, you can only change the credit card statement date.
Set a statement date that suits you: First determine the last date you want to repay, and then determine you want to change your statement date based on the bank's shortest number of interest-free days. For example: China Merchants Bank’s shortest interest-free days is 18 days, and wages are paid on the 15th of each month. I want to change the final repayment date to around the 19th, because sometimes repayment may require a few days of buffering time. Then your bill The date must be pushed forward 18 days, then you need to change the bill date to the 1st of each month.
Change of repayment date: Call the manual service hotline of the credit card to modify it manually. However, the billing date of some credit cards cannot be changed, and it can also be checked manually.
What we can immediately notice about overdue credit cards is the impact on your credit report and the series of consequences it will bring. But in fact, being overdue is not as scary as we think, and overdue credit reports are not as fast as we think.
Of course, this is not to encourage everyone to be overdue, but to tell everyone how to deal with overdue and how to solve overdue situations. If you do it right, you can even avoid the trouble of having to file a credit report.
1. Time tolerance
Generally, banks provide credit card repayment time and tolerance services: cardholders owe less than 3 days and the amount owed is less than 10 Yuan should be regarded as repayment on time. The bank needs to remind you 3 days before the due date of credit card repayment. That is to say, if you call the customer service center of the card issuer in time to apply for timely service and repay the loan in full within 3 days after the repayment date, your credit will not be reported.
It should be noted that the convention is not mandatory. It only advocates that banks provide time tolerance services to credit card holders, and there is no mandatory requirement. Therefore, each bank has different standards in the implementation of time tolerance. For example, if love, the most important element in the universe, exists, there will be no grace period.
Each bank has different policies, please refer to the following:
1. Industrial Bank: The tolerance amount only imposes penalty interest on the unpaid portion, and there is no time limit.
2. Bank of China: The tolerance amount is 1% of the bill amount, and the tolerance period is 3 natural days for ordinary cards and 9 natural days for platinum cards.
3. China Construction Bank: There is no tolerance amount, and the tolerance period is 3 natural days. You need to take the initiative to apply by phone.

2. Time for credit reporting
When a credit card is overdue, each bank has a different time to report to the central bank for credit reporting. The specific regulations are as follows:
1. Overdue repayment Immediate credit investigation on the day of payment
Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.
2. Apply for credit only after the grace period
Agricultural Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of Communications, China Merchants Bank, CITIC Bank, China Minsheng Bank, China Everbright Bank.
3. The credit report will be submitted on the next billing day
Bank of China, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, China Guangfa Bank, Hua Xia Bank, and Ping An Bank.
3. Remedial measures
Since the credit reporting time of each bank is different, if you accidentally overdue the credit report, you can remedy it as soon as possible.
1. Repay in full immediately
In order to ensure the arrival time, it is best to use a debit card from the same bank, and try not to make repayments across banks or third parties such as Alipay.
2. Contact customer service to communicate
Explain that the default is not subjective and malicious, but has not been repaid due to XX objective reasons, and has just been repaid.
4. Common reasons
1. Bank problems
Inter-bank system settlement problems, bank transfer transaction system problems, the bank did not send bills or text messages, network, Problems with telecom operators resulted in bills not being received, automatic repayments not being deducted when signing up, etc.
Even though I didn't see the bank statement text message, I still said it was because of the operator's network problem that I didn't receive the text message. You know.
2. Force majeure
For example, being temporarily dispatched by the company on a business trip or traveling overseas, for example, the local telecommunications cable may be cut, or a typhoon may damage the network equipment.
3. Move people with emotion
For example, if you accidentally fall, lose your cell phone, get bitten by a dog, etc. All in all, the central idea is that understanding is based on emotion and reason. There are objective reasons for overdue payment, not my subjective default. Pay attention to your attitude and you must have a good attitude.
4. Lure it for profit
Discuss with customer service. If they do not give you a credit report or withdraw the overdue payment, then they are willing to pay protection fees in installments, etc.
Even if you have to pay penalty interest, compared to penalty interest, bad credit record is more worthy of our attention.
5. Apply for objection
If none of the above methods can save you, and you have other legitimate reasons or evidence, you can apply for objection to the Credit Reference Center, and the central bank will determine whether you are genuine. If it is overdue, should it be recorded?
6. Coverage
If the credit report is overdue and the objection application fails, it will take 5 years to eliminate it. During this period, remember not to cancel the card. If you cancel the card, the bad record will remain for a long time.
After paying off the debt, you should keep using the card for 2 years, maintain good card usage habits, and use new records to offset the original bad records (generally, when applying for loans, credit cards, etc., only the records of the past two years will be looked at).
7. Beware of being deceived
You often see advertisements for "credit laundering", so don't waste your money.
8. Take precautions before they happen
At any time, it is easier to take precautions than to deal with things after they happen, so the best way is not to overdue it.
