What if there is a balance after the credit card is closed?
When it is necessary to cancel the account, you can call the customer service hotline of the bank for pre-cancellation, and then stop the credit card consumption or cash withdrawal transaction (except repayment). If there is a balance in the card, you can cancel the credit balance within 45 days after the pre-cancellation, and withdraw the balance free of charge.

Tips:

1. If the balance of your account has been settled 45 days after the pre-sale of the account, we will automatically close the account for you without going through any formalities at the counter.

2. When the main card is cancelled, all the subsidiary cards under its name are cancelled, and the cancellation of the subsidiary cards does not affect the use of the main card.

3. The pre-cancellation account must be applied by the cardholder of the main card, including the case that the secondary card cancels the account separately.

China Bank Credit Card Cancellation Regulations

If the cardholder no longer uses the credit card, he needs to inform the bank in advance and apply for cancellation. When applying for account cancellation, the cardholder shall go through the account cancellation procedures according to the bank regulations. The cardholder shall bear all debts before the formal cancellation of the credit card, and all outstanding funds shall be deemed due when applying for cancellation procedures, and the cardholder shall pay off such debts in one lump sum. If the cardholder fails to pay off the overdraft principal and interest and related expenses in full, the bank will not handle the account cancellation procedures.
