Foreigners can apply for China Merchants Bank's credit card in Beijing. China Merchants Bank has no strict restrictions on household registration, but not necessarily if it is the four major banks.

First of all, you must have a permanent job to apply for a credit card. When submitting the application form, please attach the following necessary documents so that the bank can accept the application in time and accurately evaluate the applicant's credit status:

1, ID card: copy of ID card (military personnel need military officer's card). The main card applicant must be at least 18-60 years old;

2. Work unit salary certificate: the salary certificate issued by the applicant's work unit (which needs to be stamped with the financial seal or official seal of the unit), a copy of the work permit or a copy of the work permit with my photo, a business card, etc.

3. Proof of financial resources: it is helpful to obtain a higher credit line: copy of self-owned property certificate, original and copy of motor vehicle driving license, and copy of bank deposit certificate (passbook).

After you have prepared the above documents, you can go to the bank to handle them. If it is handled at China Merchants Bank, it should pass. If not, you can try CITIC Bank. These two banks have no strict restrictions on household registration.
