There are three ways to activate Bank of China credit cards:

1. Credit card customer service hotline activation: dial the 24-hour customer service hotline shown on the back of the credit card and select the appropriate language. Please enter the cardholder's card number and query password; follow the voice prompts, select the card activation option under the "Credit Card Activation and Password Management" menu; enter the last 3 digits printed after the signature box on the back of the cardholder's credit card, and press the # key Confirm; enter the cardholder’s residential phone number and press the # key to confirm; enter 6 digits as the cardholder’s transaction password and press the # key to confirm; enter the 6-digit transaction password again and press the # key to confirm; the transaction password is set successfully.

2. Activation at a bank outlet: Just follow the instructions of the counter staff at a bank outlet;

3. Activation online: First log in to the online banking page of the credit card issuing bank and enter the required number. The cardholder's card number and query password; please change your query password in time after logging in; when your credit card initial password is successfully modified, please log in to online banking again; after logging in for the second time, please click "Credit Card Activation" and follow the prompts on the page Enter the last 3 digits printed on the signature line on the back of your credit card and your home phone number; after successful activation, enter the 6 digits as your transaction password according to the prompts; if you did not check the "Use password to confirm transaction" function on the application form, After the settings are completed, the transaction mode can be changed to password + signature.

Warm reminder: If you apply for a credit card online, you must go to a bank branch to activate the card; if you have used other methods before, you can choose one of three activation methods.
