What conditions can I apply for a credit card?
1. There are certain age requirements for handling credit cards: you must have full capacity for civil conduct, that is, 18 years old and above;

2. Have legal and stable income and good credit;

3. Provide corresponding identification documents: a copy of ID card or military officer's card;

4. Work certification documents. Some banks also need to provide proof of income and financial resources. Proof of financial resources can include a copy of real estate license, a copy of motor vehicle driving license, passbook, etc. Anyway, it's easier to look at personal repayment ability according to economic proof;

5. The proof of residence can be a copy of the household registration book, a certificate issued by the street, or other supporting materials. This is easier to do;

Notice of the People's Bank of China on matters related to credit card business: Bank card clearing institutions shall, in strict accordance with the relevant regulatory provisions on bank card business, further improve the rules and technical standards for credit card transactions together with card issuers and acquirers. All card issuers and acquirers should truly reflect and accurately identify business types such as cash withdrawal, cash transfer and cash recharge, and completely transmit transaction information to ensure the authenticity, integrity, traceability and consistency of transaction information in the payment process, so as to facilitate card issuers to identify and judge risks and ensure the security of credit card transactions.

Article 35 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) Commercial Bank: When issuing loans, commercial banks should strictly examine the borrower's borrowing purpose, repayment ability and repayment method.

Commercial bank loans shall be subject to the system of separating loan review from grading approval.

Article 36 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Commercial Bank Law: When a commercial bank lends money, the borrower shall provide a guarantee. Commercial banks should strictly examine the repayment ability of guarantors, the ownership and value of collateral, and the feasibility of realizing collateral.

After examination and evaluation by a commercial bank, it is confirmed that the borrower has a good credit standing and can repay the loan, and no guarantee may be provided.

Article 37 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Commercial Bank Law: A commercial bank shall conclude a written contract with the borrower when granting loans. The contract shall stipulate the type, purpose, amount, interest rate, repayment period, repayment method, liability for breach of contract and other matters that both parties think need to be agreed.
