The 45-day risk period is mainly because most credit cards have no real-time records;

Especially in foreign countries, online and offline card consumption often takes a long time to be recorded, so it takes a while to apply for cancellation of the card;

The card could not be used during this period, but it was not actually cancelled;

If there is an unrecorded consumer bank before applying for account cancellation, you can also charge the cardholder corresponding fees during this period;

After the 45-day risk period, the bank cannot charge the cardholder any fees.
