On February 18, China Construction Bank announced the launch of Apple Pay to CCB Long Card users, becoming the first bank in China to support Apple Pay services. CCB Dragon Card holders can enjoy a simple, safe, private and hassle-free new mobile payment experience by using Apple Pay to make purchases in stores and apps that support Apple Pay.

It is reported that most of China Construction Bank’s Dragon Card credit card and debit card products currently support Apple Pay, including all Dragon Card credit cards with the UnionPay logo (except Dragon Card Transformers Card) and Dragon Card e-payment cards. In addition to special card types, Dragon Card debit cards (including quasi-credit cards) can meet the needs of the majority of Dragon Card cardholders. Cardholders who hold an Apple device that supports Apple Pay and have iOS 9.2 (WatchOS 2.1) or above installed can add cards and use Apple Pay.

The mobile devices that currently support the Apple Pay service include iPhone6, iPhone6 ??plus, iPhone6s, iPhone6s plus, iPad Pro, iPad Air2, iPad mini3, iPad mini4 and Apple Watch. Among them, iPhone and Apple Watch can be used for offline payment at physical merchants that support UnionPay QuickPass transactions, and iPhone and iPad can be used for online payment in apps that support Apple Pay.

It’s easy and convenient to add cards and use Apple Pay. Dragon Card holders can use the Wallet client that comes with their iPhone, the "Wallet and Apple Pay" function in the settings of Apple Watch and iPad, and follow the on-screen prompts to add the Dragon Card to the device and complete the activation in a few easy steps.

When making purchases at offline physical merchants, cardholders only need to bring their iPhone close to the UnionPay QuickPass POS terminal, put their finger on Touch ID, or press the side button of Apple Watch twice to display it Aim the screen at the UnionPay QuickPass POS terminal (if the POS prompts you to enter a password, enter the card transaction password) to complete the payment;

When shopping online in the App, cardholders do not need to fill in lengthy account information , and there is no need to repeatedly enter shipping and billing information. Simply select Apple Pay as the payment method, place your finger on Touch ID and enter the card password to complete the payment instantly.
