According to the Market Survey and Analysis Report of Credit Card Industry, by the end of 20 14, the cumulative number of credit cards issued by five state-owned commercial banks such as ICBC, BOC, ABC, CCB and Bank of Communications and seven joint-stock commercial banks such as China Merchants, Guangfa, CITIC, Minsheng, Ping An, Everbright and Pudong Development reached 490 million, with an overall increase of 18.20%.
Judging from the amount of cards issued, the five major banks are still "big heads" at present, and the cumulative amount of credit cards issued accounts for 6 1.44%. Among them, ICBC is far ahead with the cumulative card issuance of 1.0 1 100 million, and CCB ranks second with 65 million cards, showing the momentum of continuous catch-up. The number of new cards issued is 1.299 million, and the growth rate of card issuance is 24.98%, both exceeding ICBC.
