VISA, also translated as Visa, is a credit card brand operated and managed by Visa International Organization located in San Francisco, California, USA. VISA card began to be issued in 1976. Its predecessor was Bank Americard issued by Bank of America.

MasterCard is MasterCard International, Chinese is MasterCard International Organization, and is the second largest international credit card organization in the world. In 1966, some banks in California established the Bank Card Association, and in 1970 the name and logo of Master Charge were used to unify the names and designs of credit cards issued by member banks. In 1978, it was renamed again to the current MasterCard.
