For Bank of Communications credit cards, you can apply to freeze or cancel the card by calling the 24-hour customer service hotline 95559.
The account must not have any outstanding balance when freezing or canceling. In order to ensure the safety of the account, the card must be with you when freezing or canceling over the phone. If the card is lost, it can only be frozen or canceled at the branch counter.
If there are new accounts payable within 45 days (inclusive) of freezing or cancellation, they will still be borne by the cardholder.
After 45 days of canceling the card, if the account has no outstanding balance or excess deposit, the system will automatically cancel the account without any procedures.
