1. After the "Foreign Currency Consumption RMB Account" function is enabled, any foreign currency transaction will be automatically converted into RMB account (the conversion exchange rate is the exchange rate on the account entry date of the transaction), and you only need to return RMB according to the RMB bill. Setting way: log in to the credit card online bank, and click "repayment management" → "RMB automatic foreign exchange purchase" to open it.

① The function of RMB entry of foreign currency consumption takes effect immediately after it is activated. Your foreign currency consumption can be queried in the online banking-RMB Unbilled interface 2 working days after the transaction date.

② Foreign currency transactions other than US dollars will be converted into US dollars by international credit card organizations (in the above process, international organizations such as VISA and MasterCard will charge 1.5% foreign exchange handling fee). Our bank will convert the converted USD amount into RMB according to the exchange rate on the day of bookkeeping (the USD selling price of China Merchants Bank announced after 1: on that day) and record it in RMB bill.

2. Repayment of USD bill with RMB (USD bill for purchase of foreign exchange) When your foreign currency consumption has generated USD bill, you can choose to enable the function of "USD bill for purchase of foreign exchange for repayment". After opening, your RMB repayment will be automatically converted into US dollars, and your US dollar bill will be repaid first (the exchange rate is the exchange rate on the day of your payment), and the repayment after the US dollar bill is paid off will continue to repay your RMB bill. How to set it up: log in to credit card online banking, and click "Repayment Management" → "Repayment by Purchase of Foreign Exchange". You can also check the "automatic purchase of foreign exchange" function on the application form when you apply for a card.

①. If the foreign currency transaction is not in US dollars, it will be converted into US dollars by the international credit card organization and recorded in the US dollar bill. ②. The amount of foreign exchange purchased in the current period cannot exceed the amount of the current US dollar bill, and the exchange rate for foreign exchange purchase is the selling price of China Merchants Bank in US dollars announced after 1: on the repayment date.

③. If you set the function of purchasing foreign exchange for repayment in US dollar bill and the function of "automatic repayment" in US dollar account at the same time, your RMB repayment will be given priority in purchasing foreign exchange to repay your US dollar bill, and the difference between the self-deduction amount (full or minimum) set in your US dollar bill in this period and the agreed amount of purchasing foreign exchange will be deducted from your designated US dollar automatic repayment account.

④ after the automatic purchase of foreign exchange is set up successfully, if the cardholder fails to pay off the US dollar bill on the due repayment date, if there is RMB overpayment in your credit card, our bank will automatically deduct the corresponding amount from your RMB overpayment to purchase foreign exchange to repay your US dollar bill.

3. Paying bills in US dollars

① Debit card payment in US dollars: The available repayment methods include online bank repayment, mobile phone repayment and telephone repayment.

② USD cash repayment at business outlets: USD cash repayment can be made at all business outlets of the Bank (except Hong Kong). As long as the credit card number is provided, anyone can repay your credit card (the payer must show his ID card).
