The TV series "Never Give Up", formerly known as "Contract for Progress", was directed by Huang Jianzhong and Zhong Shaoxiong, starring Jia Yiping, Zhang Guangbei and Wang Yuanke. Based on Futures, the play tells the story that Feng Yun, the hero played by Jia Yiping, became a master of futures in the early 1990s from a teenager who just entered the futures market. As the first TV series with the theme of futures business war in China, it shows the life course of the first generation of financial workers in China from a brand-new perspective, and is known as the mainland version of "Great Times".
