1. Bank
At present, most domestic banking institutions are: head office, provincial banks, city banks, sub-branches and outlets (savings offices). The organization is pyramid-shaped, with branches and outlets all over the streets of the city, which is also a place where many people are placed. It is a good choice for schools to recruit state-owned banks. With certain banking experience, the possibility of going to a joint-stock firm or a foreign bank will increase.
2. Fund companies
At present, fund companies have higher requirements for students, which are basically concentrated in well-known universities such as Peking University, Tsinghua, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Fudan University. If they have outstanding personal ability, strong learning ability and pressure resistance, and have a background in science and engineering at the undergraduate level, they will also be favored by HR.
3. Futures companies
The basic departments of futures companies are: trading department, marketing department, settlement department, finance department, research and development department, technology department and so on. Financial institutions such as futures companies prefer experienced financial talents, but it does not mean that financial students who have just graduated have no hope.
4. Securities and trusts
The threshold of trust and securities is relatively high, and experienced job seekers are generally preferred, but some companies will open a certain number of recruitment places for fresh graduates every year. Trust personnel generally have to start as assistants and then be promoted according to the path of trust manager, so that they can reach the level of director and be responsible for business work.
5. Investment banks
Investment banks have high barriers to entry. As far as the career promotion path of the investment banking department (IBD) that graduates are keen to join is concerned, it can be divided into analyst, assistant manager, vice president (VP), director and managing director (MD).
