20 1 1 In March, Tsinghua University signed a cooperation agreement with Suzhou Municipal Government to establish "Suzhou Automobile Research Institute of Tsinghua University". In July of the same year, the research institute was formally established, and R&D and industrialization bases were set up in Wujiang District and Xiangcheng District of Suzhou City, respectively, dedicated to the research and development, integration and service of key technologies of complete vehicles and parts.
