Brief introduction of Wen Jing and related funds

Founded by Mr. Zhu, a patriotic industrialist in Hong Kong. 1985, officially approved as a non-profit-making charity in Hong Kong. With the aim of "preserving materials for the country", the Foundation subsidizes poor outstanding college students, encourages them to "help themselves" and gives back what they have learned to the society and people.

Mr. Wen Jing devoted himself to education all his life. More than 50 years before the foundation was founded, he founded Wen Jing Compulsory Primary School in Suzhou. More than 20 years before the foundation was established, Mr. Wen Jing personally helped Hong Kong youth to study in the United States, with nearly 600 people before and after. Because of its contribution to education, 1973 was awarded an honorary doctorate in humanities by Vinson University. After the foundation was established, Mr. Yang fell ill on 1986. His wife, Yang Zhenzhen, his eldest son, Zhu Enyu, and a famous lawyer, Huang Ganheng, acted as brokers, and the specific work was presided over by Mr. Zhu Enyu. In view of the increasing prosperity of Hong Kong society at that time, the recipients of the Foundation gradually moved to the mainland of China. From 65438 to 0987, Mr. Zhu Enyu and his wife visited Suzhou University three times and established Zhu Scholarship. After that, referring to Suzhou University's model, we studied in Nanjing Normal University (1990), Yangzhou Normal University (1990), Jiangsu Agricultural College (19 1) and Yangzhou Institute of Science and Technology (199 1). Since 1999, the total amount of funding has reached 3 million yuan every year, and nearly 3,000 students have been funded every year. At the same time, it also funded colleges and universities to establish a modern library for the elderly. Suzhou University (1992), Yangzhou Normal University (1996), Xuzhou Normal University (1998) and Nanjing Normal University (2000) have been established. At present, Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and Wenjing Library of Anhui Normal University are under construction.

Mr. Wen Jing died in Hong Kong on 1996. His children (four men and five women) gathered in Hong Kong and decided to inherit his legacy and dedicate his property to the Foundation. Mr. Wen Jing's children and their spouses are members of the Foundation, and Mr. Zhu Enyu, Mr. Zhu and Mr. Huang Qianheng are agents, so as to continue the work of the Foundation and contribute to the talent cultivation of the motherland.

[Note]: Jiangsu Agricultural College, Yangzhou Normal College and Yangzhou Institute of Science and Technology merged into Yangzhou University, while Suzhou Medical College and Suzhou University merged.
