Basic requirements of the applicant

1. Love the socialist motherland, have good ideological, moral and political qualities, and have no record of violating laws and disciplines.

Have a good professional foundation and development potential, have outstanding performance in work and study, and have the dedication and sense of responsibility to return to China to serve the motherland.

3. Have the nationality of China people and have no permanent residency abroad. When applying for the exam, you should be a regular staff member or a student in colleges, enterprises, institutions, administrative organs and scientific research institutions, with the age of 18.

4. Good health and mental health.

5. Meet the requirements of foreign language study funded by the National Fund for Studying Abroad and the language requirements of countries and units studying abroad.

6. Meet other specific requirements of the application project.

Applications from the following persons will not be accepted for the time being

1. It is supported by a full scholarship from abroad.

2. It has obtained the national public study abroad qualification and is within the validity period.

3. The declared national public study abroad program has not yet announced the admission results.

4. Obtain the national public study abroad qualification, and give up within 5 years without the approval of the National Study Abroad Fund Committee, or give up within 2 years with the approval of the National Study Abroad Fund Committee.

5. I have been supported by the National Fund for Studying Abroad, and my service after returning to China is less than five years. If the project has special provisions, it shall be implemented in accordance with relevant regulations.

system of selection

Following the principle of "openness, fairness and justice", the selection is made by means of "individual application, unit recommendation, expert evaluation and merit-based admission".

Those who meet the application conditions shall apply in accordance with the prescribed procedures and methods. According to the requirements of relevant projects, the National Scholarship Fund Committee organizes expert review to determine the admission results. Applicants can log on to the national public study abroad management information platform () to check the admission results. The admission notice is sent to the applicant's unit.

Time for application and approval of major projects

1. Senior research scholars, visiting scholars and postdoctoral programs:

2. The national construction of high-level university graduate program:

Apply from March 20th to April 5th, and announce the admission results in May (some Chinese-foreign cooperation agreements/projects need to confirm the admission results with foreign cooperative institutions/institutions, and the announcement time is a little late).

Apply from March 20th to April 5th, and the admission results will be announced in May.

4. Excellent undergraduate international exchange program:

6. Cooperation projects between local and industrial sectors:

① Special talent training projects and local cooperation projects in the western region: apply from April 1 day to April 15, and announce the admission results in July.

② Cooperation projects with industry departments shall be implemented in accordance with relevant project regulations.

7. Research on international and regional issues and foreign language high-level personnel training projects:

Apply from March 20th to 30th, and the admission results will be announced in May.

The government exchange scholarship program shall be implemented according to the provisions of the corresponding project.

8. Special projects for training artistic talents:

Apply from March 20th to April 5th, and the admission results will be announced in May.
