national project: a national project refers to a project whose sponsor is a national unit. National projects mainly include: National Natural Science Foundation (Youth, General, Key, Major, Jieqing), 973, 863, major projects of Ministry of Science and Technology, national science and technology support plan, national spark plan and national torch plan.

provincial and ministerial level topics: research topics approved by the scientific research administrative units designated by the provincial government on behalf of the government. It mainly includes: national educational science and technology research projects, humanities and social sciences research planning projects of the Ministry of Education, national educational science planning projects, scientific research projects of the State Sports General Administration, scientific research projects of the Ministry of Justice and scientific research projects of the Ministry of Culture.

municipal and departmental topics: the municipal and departmental scientific research administrative units designated by the national government issue research topics on behalf of the government. It mainly includes: provincial education science planning projects, provincial education department projects, and scientific research projects initiated by other (provincial) departments (except the Science and Technology Department).

School-level project: School-level project takes our school as the research theme and the education and teaching problems of our school as the research object. It mainly includes: teachers explore topics from the problems they face in their work, from how to apply advanced educational and teaching concepts to practical work, from the topics formed by investigating a certain educational and teaching phenomenon, and from how to improve the quality of education and teaching.
