Northeast Forestry University is a multi-disciplinary and coordinated development institution with forestry as its advantage and forestry engineering as its feature. It is located in Harbin, the center of China's largest state-owned forest region, with an altitude of 141 meters at 126.6247 east longitude and 45.7662 north latitude. Its campus covers an area of 136 hectares, and it has Maoershan Experimental Forest Farm (Maoershan Forest Park) and Liangshui Experimental Forest Farm (Liangshui National Nature Reserve)
