Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station belongs to Shenzhen. Located in Dapeng Peninsula, Dapeng New District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. It belongs to China China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group. It is jointly built and operated by Guangdong Nuclear Power Investment Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong Nuclear Power Investment Co., Ltd., and mainly supplies power to Shenzhen and Hong Kong, with the power supply ratio of 80% and 20% respectively.

Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station is a large-scale nuclear power base. Construction began in 1987 and was put into commercial operation in 1994. It is the first large-scale commercial nuclear power plant in Chinese mainland and the first nuclear power plant unit built with foreign technology in Chinese mainland. It was named Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station because the Na Pianhai area it built was called Daya Bay Sea Area, hence its name.
