South Korea's application experience in studying in Xinjiang University
After communicating with Korean professors, I can only choose one of them. After the interview, after many considerations, I chose the dean of the School of Biological Sciences of Xijiang University, because his research direction, laboratory conditions and promised living allowance deeply attracted me. Perhaps in everyone's opinion, my application is very simple and very lucky. 10/kloc-0 began to contact professors on October 27th, and10 officially got the offer in February, and began to prepare for the national public application for studying abroad. But the hardships are hard to express in words. I remember that in order to attend an interview with a Korean university, I happened to be an intern at Zhejiang University, so I had to ask my tutor for a week's leave. I took a hard-seat train for dozens of hours and attended an interview the next day. Five Korean professors interviewed, but I can only use English because I don't know Korean. However, I am still at a loss to answer professional knowledge. The 40-minute interview was spent in an extremely tired and tense atmosphere. After the interview, I hurried back to Zhejiang University by train, and it was extremely difficult to wait for the interview result.

Take this opportunity to briefly talk about the preparation of materials for applying to Korean universities. Take Xijiang University as an example. Because I don't know Korean, all the information is filled in English.

The list of universities in Xinjiang is as follows:

1, Application Information Form for Admission (online download)

2. Learning plan (online download)

3 academic history query confirmation form (online download)

4. Three passport photos

5. Graduation certificate and bachelor's degree certificate (submit a copy after graduation, and submit the study or pre-graduation certificate issued by the Academic Affairs Office before graduation).

6. Master's degree certificate (for doctoral students)

7. Undergraduate transcripts for the whole academic year (English version stamped with the official seal of the Academic Affairs Office)

8. Master's report card for the whole academic year (for doctoral students)

9. Copy of passport

10, household registration book and resident ID card (notarized certificate, for students whose household registration is transferred to the school, they should go to the local police station to open a collective household registration certificate, and then bring their ID cards to the notary office where the school is located for notarization. At that time, my notary fee was 300 yuan, which was different from place to place; Family account, notarized by the notary office where the family account is located)

1 1, proof of kinship (notarized certificate, issued by the police station where the household registration is located, and notarized by the notary office)

12, English degree certificate notarized by Degree and Postgraduate Education Development Center of Ministry of Education (see/).

13, 100 USD certificate of deposit (this is difficult for most families, but it is also a fantasy for me. I still can't forget the feeling of helplessness at that time. Because there were no relatives and elders at home to help me, I had to find friends to scrape together, but it was still very difficult. Finally, I had to write to the Graduate School of Xijiang University and ask them to extend the time limit for submitting my deposit certificate. )

14, parents' death certificate (notarized certificate, first go to the local police station to issue the death certificate, and then go to the notary office for notarization. Of course, this is only for individual phenomena, so some university materials do not list this item. At that time, Xijiang University did not list this item, which led me to call later to make up the materials. Because there is no elder at home to help with this notarization, it is very troublesome and wastes too much energy and financial resources, because the local county notary office is expensive and dark. )

Third, apply for and wait for public study abroad

As mentioned above, after I got the admission notice from Xijiang University, I began to prepare for the national public school. In addition, the admission notice must specify two points: free tuition and language clearance. Because this is a necessary condition for applying for national public schools. Applying for public study abroad is a long process, specifically a test of psychological endurance. Because the whole application will last almost half a year from the selection in the school to the final announcement of the admission list, which is undoubtedly the biggest test of whether you are impetuous or not. As long as you keep up with the pace of the school, carefully prepare the application materials and work harder on the preparation materials.

Now I want to briefly introduce the national public graduate program, mainly aimed at? 985? And then what? 2 1 1? There are two types of colleges and universities, namely, pursuing doctoral degrees and jointly training doctoral students. The selected majors must be key fields: energy, resources, environment, agriculture, manufacturing, information and other key fields, strategic fields such as life, space, ocean, nanotechnology and new materials, and humanities and applied social sciences. Before February 20th of each year, candidates selected by colleges and universities will register online from February 20th to March 20th, and the materials will be submitted to the National Foundation, which will organize experts to review them, and the official admission list will be announced around the end of May.

Now briefly introduce the whole process of applying for dispatch in public schools across the country:

Candidates for primary school elections are generally notified by the China National Foundation, and the pre-selected places are sent to schools. The school sends a notice, students prepare materials and voluntarily register in the department. The department screens candidates and reports them to the school. The school screened them and finally determined the list of candidates. Take my initial application as an example. I prepared the materials submitted in February 65438. At that time, I was still an intern at Zhejiang University, so I prepared the electronic materials for my friends to print and stamp, and then handed them in.
