Weilai recently signed an agreement worth US$ 600 million through its wholly-owned subsidiary to subscribe for the newly-increased registered capital of Weilai (Anhui) Holdings Co., Ltd., a legal entity of Weilai China.
After completing the capital subscription and the previously announced stock redemption, Weilai will hold 86.5% of the controlling stake in Weilai China.
Weilai Automobile said that the acquisition has been mentioned in the last issue, and now it is time to report the progress.
On September 18, Weilai Automobile announced that the company had signed an agreement with Hefei Jianheng New Energy Automobile Investment Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership), one of Weilai China shareholders, to redeem 50% equity of Weilai China held by the fund, equivalent to 8.6% equity of Weilai China.
Weilai (Anhui) Holdings Co., Ltd. made industrial and commercial changes on September 27th, and the registered capital of Weilai Automobile increased to 5,865,438,700 yuan. Meanwhile, Nio? Nextev？ Limited, NIO? User? Enterprise? Finite and NIO? Power? Express delivery? Limited holds 86.4755% of the total shares, while the shares of other strategic investors have declined. Anhui Sanzhong Yichuang Industry Development Fund Co., Ltd., Hefei Jianheng New Energy Automobile Investment Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership), Anhui Jintong New Energy Automobile Phase II Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership) and Advanced Manufacturing Investment Fund Phase II (Limited Partnership) hold 2.4044% and 7.5 136% respectively.
In April 2020, Weilai reached a final agreement with a group of investors in Hefei on strategic investment Weilai China. According to the final agreement of these amendments and supplements, before 202 1, 12, 3 1, the company and its designated affiliated companies have the right to unilaterally subscribe for the newly-increased registered capital of Weilai Anhui with the same price as that of Hefei strategic investors.
