In recent years, he has been engaged in cooperative research in University of London, Bristol University (invited and funded by the famous Royal Society), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (funded by the famous Hong Kong Autumn Tea Foundation), Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hiroshima University of Japan (invited and funded by the famous Japan Academic Promotion Association and held lectures) and City University of Hong Kong. 1995 was promoted to professor, and was awarded the titles of CSSC provincial and ministerial-level young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions and national excellent teachers. He has offered courses such as artificial intelligence, pattern recognition and neural network. Research interests: artificial intelligence/pattern recognition, neurofuzzy system, bioinformatics and its application. Award-winning situation: won four scientific and technological progress awards from the State Education Commission, CSSC and Jiangsu Province.

He presided over or participated in 6 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and more than 0 other provincial and ministerial scientific research projects/kloc-0.

In 2004, the Ministry of Education won the support plan for outstanding talents in the new century.

As the first author, he has published more than 100 papers in domestic and forEIgn journals, including more than 50 papers collected by SCI and ei. He has published Artificial Intelligence Course, TP 18 Application of Fuzzy Mathematics in Artificial Intelligence, Fuzzy Reasoning Theory and Fuzzy Expert System, Neurofuzzy System and Its Application, Fuzzy System, Fuzzy Neural Network and Application Program Design, etc.
