Zhejiang trademark registration process: 1. After the application is prepared and the application documents are submitted to the Trademark Office, the trademark acceptance reply will be obtained within 3-5 working days. The Trademark Office began a formal review. 2. Formal examination It takes about 3-4 months from the date of receipt of the application documents by the Trademark Office to issue a paper Notice of Acceptance. Upon receipt of the paper Notice of Acceptance, it proves that the application documents have passed the formal examination by the Trademark Office and entered the substantive examination stage. 3. After the examination of the acceptance notice, the substantive examination is completed in about 6-8 months. If it passes the substantive examination, the Trademark Office will issue a preliminary examination and approval announcement for a period of three months. 4. The announcement of preliminary examination expires, and if no one raises any objection, the Trademark Office will issue a registration announcement, which will prove that the trademark has been approved and the trademark applicant has obtained the exclusive right to use the trademark. 5. The trademark registration certificate can be obtained in about 1-2 months from the date of publication of the registration announcement. Article 4 of the Trademark Law If a natural person, legal person or other organization needs to obtain the exclusive right to use a trademark for its goods or services in production and business activities, it shall apply to the Trademark Office for trademark registration. An application for registration of a malicious trademark that is not intended for use shall be rejected. The provisions of this Law on commodity trademarks shall apply to service trademarks.
