I have been engaged in the wine industry in Maotai Town for so many years. Usually, many wine friends like to send some Maotai wine to me to help identify the authenticity. Although I can't be called an expert, I will do my best to help fellow drinkers answer questions. In fact, there are many tips to identify the authenticity of Moutai, such as looking at the trademark, outer packaging, Moutai's own small wine glass, etc. I have mentioned them in previous articles. Today, I will talk about how to identify the authenticity of Moutai by looking at the bottom of the bottle.
Moutai bottles have gone through dozens of generations before they evolved into what they are today. It would be too cumbersome to go into details. Today I will mainly use wine bottles after 2000 as an example.
1. Look at the five-star pattern in the middle
The five-star pattern in the middle of the authentic Maotai is angular and clear, making it easy to distinguish. The grains of wheat ears scattered around are large and small, with distinct grains. On the contrary, the five-star pattern of counterfeit products is very rough, with blurred edges and corners, weak three-dimensional effect, and the wheat ears will be connected into one piece.
2. Look at the letters W and M
The letters W and M on a real Moutai bottle are round and smooth, and the connection between the letters will not be obviously protruding, and they will feel good to the touch. Very comfortable. The length of the joint between the two letters of Fake Maotai and both sides are basically the same, and the font is thin.
3. Look at the distance between MOUTAI and CO
Friends who pay attention can find that the distance between MOUTAI and CO on the left side of the authentic Moutai in the picture below is wider, which is obvious to the naked eye. The distance between fake Maotai is very short, and it looks like they are stuck together.
These are some tips for identifying real and fake wine through wine bottles. Of course, I know that there are also many unscrupulous merchants on the market who use real wine bottles to sell fake wine to deceive drinkers. You may not know this until you taste it yourself. But in life, if you can use these simple methods to avoid being deceived, who would be willing to spend 1,300 in vain?
As a traditional wine maker in Maotai Town, what I hate most is fake wine! It is precisely because there are so many fake wines on the market today that consumers have lost the ability to identify good wines, deceiving wine lovers and insulting the most traditional and precious wine-making process! Therefore, many drinking friends usually ask me to identify Moutai liquor, and I know everything about it!
At the same time, I will take a warning and will never make this mistake. The so-called gentleman loves money and gets it in the right way. I believe that as long as I insist on making my own pure wine with good quality and good taste. Grain and wine can gain recognition from more drinking friends!
