The court preservation period is three years.
The period for the people's court to freeze the bank deposits of the person subject to execution shall not exceed one year, the period for sealing up or detaining movable property shall not exceed two years, and the period for sealing up real estate or freezing other property rights shall not exceed three years. If the person applying for execution applies for an extension of the time limit, the people's court shall handle the renewal procedures for sealing, seizing, or freezing before the expiration of the sealing, seizure, or freezing period, and the renewal period shall not exceed the period specified in the preceding paragraph. The People's Court may also handle the continuation of sealing, seizure, and freezing procedures in accordance with its authority.
The specific period of property preservation is as follows:
1. Bank account number and deposit: six months for the first time, followed by three months of freezing;
2. Real estate and land : Two years for the first time, and one year for renewal;
3. Equity: Two years for the first time, and one year for renewal;
4. Non-tradable shares of listed companies for one year for the first time, and one year for renewal. Six months;
5. Ordinary shares (tradable shares) of listed companies: two years for the first time, and one additional year; 6. Bonds: one year for the first time, and six additional years. Months;
7. Vehicles: no time limit (Shanghai Public Security Bureau Vehicle Management Office does not accept time-limited seizures);

Article 249: The person subject to execution fails to perform in accordance with the execution notice For obligations determined in legal documents, the People's Court has the right to inquire from relevant units about the deposits, bonds, stocks, fund shares and other property status of the person subject to execution. The people's court has the power to seize, freeze, transfer, and change the value of the property of the person subject to execution based on different circumstances. The property inquired, seized, frozen, transferred, and valuated by the People's Court shall not exceed the scope of the obligations that the person subject to execution shall perform.
When the people's court decides to seize, freeze, transfer or devalue property, it shall make a ruling and issue a notice of assistance in execution, and the relevant units must handle it. Article 106 Property preservation shall take the form of sealing, detaining, freezing or other methods prescribed by law. After the people's court preserves property, it shall immediately notify the person whose property is preserved.
If the property has been seized or frozen, it shall not be seized or frozen again.
