In fact, it is said that the paper sold to Shanghai by Dowling Company at that time included both printing paper and writing paper. Most of them are made from bleached sulfite wood pulp. According to the level at that time, it was quite good. Later, due to the increasing demand in the printing industry, printing paper accounted for a large proportion. As a result, Dowling paper became synonymous with printing paper.
