Don’t ask “can it be done?”, it is “imperative”! One is to realize online sales of agricultural products, and the other is to reduce the purchase price of agricultural inputs.
1. Establish a local "agricultural product e-commerce center" to realize online sales of agricultural products, and reduce the production/purchase costs of agricultural inputs through information integration and scale advantages.
2. It is unrealistic to rely on farmers to do e-commerce one by one. As a poor area, it should rely more on the government to promote the development of e-commerce. The government should support the development of e-commerce for local agricultural and sideline products through interest subsidies and awards in lieu of subsidies. E-commerce poverty alleviation, in addition to expanding sales channels and markets for agricultural products, should also promote the change of farmers' ideological concepts and cultivate brand awareness and customer concepts. Agricultural and sideline products at the village and town level should register trademarks and establish brand advantages through food safety certification.
