Talking about the origin of "Taurus" in jinniu district, Chengdu is unusual!
during the Qin and Han dynasties, there were three main roads from Hanzhong to Bashu, namely Jinniu Road, Micang Road and Litchi Road.

These three roads all cross the Qinling Mountains, among which Jinniu Road leads directly to Chengdu, the core of Sichuan, which is the most convenient one. Micang Road reaches Bazhong today; Litchi Road reaches Chongqing today.

The Sichuan Basin has always had fertile land, which has created a reputation as a land of abundance. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, the State of Qin coveted it, so the State of Qin pretended a trick and succeeded in making Shu Hou suffer a great loss from national subjugation.

The Book of Brackets records: "In the past, the Qin Dynasty wanted to take the place of Shu, but there was no way in. Instead, five cows were carved out of stone, and gold was placed in the back. It was falsely said that this cow could shit gold to send Shu away, and the marquis of Shu was greedy for money, so he believed it, and made five cows lead him to Chengdu.

The general idea is that the State of Qin claimed that there were five cows that could steal gold and wanted to give them to the King of Shu, so the greedy King of Shu was tricked into building the Jinniu Road, and then King Huiwen sent Sima Cuo to extend the Jinniu Road south to destroy Shu.

I didn't expect it. The cow sent by the State of Qin and the shit it pulled were also gold. Now it sounds absurd, but at that time, it was an anecdote throughout the ages, and it's not surprising that the King of Shu was fooled.

At that time, the situation was like this. According to Huayang Guozhi, when the Emperor was enlightened, there were five Ding Lishi in Shu who could move mountains and lift thousands of horses. During the reign of King Xian of Zhou Dynasty, the King of Shu had a place to praise the Han Dynasty. Because he met King Hui of Qin in the hunting valley, King Hui was the five heads of Shi Niu. Later, he said,' Cattle turned into gold', which pleased the Shu people and made them invite cows, and King Hui promised them. I sent five cows to meet the stone, but they didn't turn into gold, and they were angry! " . After Ding Lishi was dragged back to Shi Niu, Shi Niu was fake and useless. In a rage, King Shu abandoned the suburb of Chengdu-today's Chengdu Ximen Jinniu Dam.

Shi Niu was hauled from the State of Qin to Chengdu, and it had to pass through Qipanguan, Guangyuan, Zhaoshi, Jiange, Zitong, Mianyang, Deyang and Xindu in Sichuan. Obviously, it had to open roads along the mountain and bridge when it met with water. Therefore, Historical Records also said that this ancient road from Chengdu to the Central Plains was called "Shi Niu Road", also known as "Jinniu Road".

In the poem Zhangyilou written by Lu You, a poet in the Southern Song Dynasty, when he was climbing to the west gate of Chengdu, there is a sentence that "the turtle book becomes a city with a beautiful waterfront, and the Jinniu Road is restored to the Qin Dynasty". The former refers to the legend of the origin of Chengdu, and the latter refers to the story of the origin of Jinniu on Jinniu Dam.

In 1983, the book "jinniu district Land Register" also used the statement of historical records, and once again determined that the origin of Taurus should be like this.

Jinniu Dam refers to the place where Shi Niu is parked. Obviously, this dam is not big. It only refers to the low dam area outside the west gate of Chengdu. Why was the word "jinniu district" used to be used around such a big Chengdu?

In May 196, Chengdu divided the surrounding areas such as Xu Ma and Wangjiang into an administrative region. As the district committee and district government were located on Jinniu Dam next to Chadianzi, the word Jinniu was used as the district name.

Let's talk about Jinniu Road again. Jinniu Road made Shu King suffer a great loss. Finally, Shu was destroyed by Qin State, which turned the land of abundance into a granary, laying a solid foundation for later hegemony and unification of the six countries.

When it comes to Jinniu Road, people have to think of the first pass in the world-Jianmenguan. As the throat of Jinniu Road, Jianmenguan is a well-deserved northern gateway of Sichuan. So where is this Jianmenguan now?

If you don't have a good partner in geography class, please search on the map. Jianmenguan is located on the Qinling Mountains at the northern end of Guangyuan City.

In ancient times, there was a saying that "the sword gate is broken, and the Shu land is not preserved", and there has always been a saying that "it is like winning Sichuan if you break the sword gate".

The Jianmen Pass was built by Zhuge Liang. The mountain range is Jianmen Mountain, a branch of Longmen Mountain, with a total length of 7 kilometers. The Jianmen Mountain on both sides of the pass is extremely dangerous. There is a fault zone in the middle of Jianmen Mountain, which consists of 72 sword-like peaks.

there is a gap of about 2 meters between the two mountains, which looks like an entrance, so it is called Jianmen, and Jianmen Pass is located at the gap, guarding the narrow north-south passage.

Li Bai's poem says: though Dagger-Tower Pass be firm and grim, and while one man guards it, ten thousand cannot force it. During the Three Kingdoms period, Jiang Wei of Shu Han led 3, troops to guard the sword gate to resist the crazy attack of 1, troops of Wei.

the sword gate is unique in that it is high in the north and low in the south, sinister in the north and soothing in the south, and has the advantage of commanding.

Li Teyan: Liu Chan has this place, but its face is tied to people. This is not a mediocrity!

The side shows the importance of Jianmenguan. It can be said that Jianmenguan "guards" Chinese integrity with one level, and now it calls Chinese culture back to its peak.
