Luzhou Laojiao has a long history and is the birthplace of Chinese strong-flavor liquor. It is unique in the Chinese liquor industry with many unique advantages. In December 1996, it was approved by the State Council as the industry's first national key cultural relics protection unit. In 2006, it was designated as a national cultural relic. "Luzhou Laojiao Liquor Traditional Brewing Technique", as the only representative of Sichuan liquor and my country's strong-flavor liquor, was selected into the first batch of "National Intangible Cultural Heritage List" in May 2006, becoming the first company in the industry to have "Double National Treasures" of enterprises. Luzhou Laojiao Tequ is one of the four oldest famous liquors in China. In 1915, it won the gold medal at the Panama Pacific International Exposition. In 1952, it was identified by the country as a typical representative of strong-flavor liquor at China’s first wine evaluation meeting. It is the only one to win five consecutive "China A strong-flavor liquor with the title of "Famous Liquor". Its "Luzhou" registered trademark is among China's first top ten well-known trademarks. The "Guojiao Brand" trademark was awarded the only national "well-known trademark" in the liquor category in 2006. The "Luzhou Old Winery" trademark was awarded the national well-known trademark in 2008. Luzhou Laojiao is the only company in the industry that has won three well-known Chinese trademarks.
