Before liberation (1946 ~ 1949):

◇ In January 1946, Wu Xianzhe, Li Timin and others raised 5 million yuan (legal currency), rented the repair workshop of Hua'an Paper Mill (No. 1127 Zhoujiazui Road) opened by Zhao Shuan, and established "Lianggong Machinery Factory". It was put into operation half a year later and the first rotary screen paper machine was successfully manufactured.

◇ In May 1947, "Lianggong Machinery Factory" moved from the leased site to No. 101, Jingzhou Road, and was renamed "Lianggong Machinery Factory Co., Ltd.", and production began to take shape.

The early years of the founding of the People's Republic of China (1949 ~ 1956):

◇ In 1950, we undertook the project of movable internal combustion engine units and successfully trial-produced the cigarette paper machine. Main components and manufacturing technology have made great progress.

◇ In 1952, it was renamed "Lianggong Machinery Factory Co., Ltd." and successfully manufactured a 21,500-pound high-pressure cast steel valve for the first time, creating the history of my country's self-made high-pressure cast steel valves.

◇ In 1955, it was renamed "Public-Private Partnership Lianggong Machinery Factory" and successfully manufactured control valves and lake inlet valves.

◇ In 1956, we began to mass-produce high-pressure cast steel flange gate valves with diameters of 50, 65, 100, and 125 and a pressure of 160 kg, creating a history of mass production of high-pressure valves.

The early stage of socialist construction (1957-1965):

◇ Successfully trial-produced a small-diameter ball valve at the end of 1959, creating a history of ball valve production.

◇ In 1960, we designed and manufactured a full range of high-pressure nitrogen fertilizer valves with a diameter of 25 to 90 and a pressure of 130 to 320 kilograms for Wujing Fertilizer Factory, a large enterprise in my country. We also manufactured 1,390 tons of high-pressure valves for oil production networks for Daqing Oilfield.

◇ In 1962, it was renamed "Public-Private Partnership Lianggong Valve Factory" and became a professional manufacturer of high and medium pressure valves.

◇ In 1965, under the overall arrangement of the State Economic Commission, 152 personnel and some equipment were moved to Sichuan Zigong Valve Factory to support construction in the mainland in the form of "one split into two".

During the "Cultural Revolution" (1966-1976):

◇ In 1966, it was renamed "Shanghai Valve Factory No. 1".

◇ In 1969, we undertook and successfully trial-produced my country's first set of high-temperature and high-pressure valves for large power stations with 125,000 watts.

◇ In 1972, we developed and provided first-, second- and third-stage gate valves, stop valves, check valves, bellows stop valves and valve electric devices for Qinshan Nuclear Power Station, the first nuclear power plant in my country.

◇ In 1973, the name was changed to "Shanghai Lianggong Valve Factory".

In the same year, a high-pressure gate valve for offshore oil production was successfully trial-produced, and the product was used for the first time on my country's first "Exploration No. 1" ship.

◇ In 1974, we successfully produced high-temperature and high-pressure valves for my country's 300,000 kilowatt/hour thermal power station.

◇ The trial production was successful in 1975 - a new product of 120℃ low temperature gate valve.

Reform and opening up period (state-owned) (1977-2003):

◇ Undertaken the manufacturing of high-quality valves for Chairman Mao Memorial Hall in 1977 .

◇ In 1978, Z741Y-350I hydraulic gate valve was trial-produced and mass-produced.

◇ In 1979, the "Shanghai Valve Precision Casting Factory" (large collective nature) was established based on the precision manufacturing section of our factory.

In September of the same year, the "Shanghai Lianggong Valve Factory Technical School" was officially opened.

◇ In 1980, we reached an agreement with the American Times Exploration Company to trial-produce the first batch of American valves according to API standards, setting a record for our factory's batch export of valves.

◇ In 1981, valves of different specifications such as manual pneumatic gate valves, angle globe valves, and high-pound API valves were sent to the "Vancouver Expo", "Sihanno International Expo", and "Mexico Expo" ”, “Irish Expo”, “Argentina Expo” and other exhibitions.

In the same year, the hydraulic switching valve for Jinshan Petrochemical Plant was successfully trial-produced.

◇ In 1982, the original "Shanghai Valve Factory No. 3" was merged into our factory and established as an electrical assembly workshop.

◇ Obtained API6D and API591 certificates from the American Petroleum Institute in 1984, and was among the first companies in my country's valve industry to obtain such certificates.

◇ In 1988, the original "China Machine Tool Factory" was merged into our factory and established into seven workshops.

◇ Obtained ISO9001 international certification from Det Norske Veritas in 1994.

◇ Obtained the nuclear-grade valve design and manufacturing license issued by the National Security Bureau in 1995.

◇ In 1996, the company signed a cooperation agreement with the French company Famato on the secondary high-temperature and high-pressure electric gate valves and electric stop valves for million-level nuclear power plants.

◇ In 1999, the "Gong" brand trademark was awarded the "Shanghai Famous Trademark"

◇ In 2002, the first batch of "Gong" brand trademarks were awarded the "Shanghai Famous Trademark" by the National Quality Inspection Bureau. Pressure piping components manufacturing license” (AZ certificate).

Reform and opening up period (private) (2003 to present):

◇ In July 2003, it was reviewed and approved by "Shanghai Electrical Appliances (Group) Corporation" and agreed to Shanghai Restructuring plan of Lianggong Valve Factory. In October, all employees in the factory formally terminated their relationship with the state-owned enterprise in the form of "sold out due to seniority."

◇ In October 2004, it moved from No. 101 Jingzhou Road, Yangpu District to No. 68 Jinhong Road, Yanghang Industrial Park, Baoshan District.

◇ In October 2005, with the approval of the "Shanghai Administration for Industry and Commerce", "Shanghai Lianggong Valve Factory" officially changed its name to "Shanghai Lianggong Valve Factory Co., Ltd.".

◇ In November 2007, it was awarded the two honors of "Brand Enterprise" and "Brand Product" among small and medium-sized enterprises in Shanghai.

The chairman of "Shanghai Lianggong Valve Factory Co., Ltd." is Mr. Lin Jinbiao.
