If your product has Bluetooth function and the Bluetooth logo is marked on the product appearance, it must pass a certification called BQB. If it is found that it does not have BQB certification, the product will not be certified before entering the product. It will be seized by customs when going to the market.

The issuing organization of BQB certification is the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, a non-profit, non-stock, multinational organization with the purpose of formulating Bluetooth specifications and promoting Bluetooth technology.

Only products that have passed SIG certification and authorization are real Bluetooth products, and can ensure that their product compatibility and related performance meet standards, and can they legally use the Bluetooth (Bluetooth) trademark and related Bluetooth technical specifications. The process mainly consists of the following seven steps:

1. Register as a SIG member

2. Purchase DID

3. Determine the authentication method ( Two methods: Qualification Certification Statement/Just a Statement)

4. Bluetooth product qualification certification (from January 1, 2019, products applying for Bluetooth product qualification certification must be version 4.2 or 5.0. From Starting from January 1, 2020, new product models will not be added to the listings that have been certified for versions 4.0 and earlier. From July 1, 2020, new product models will not be added to the listings that have been certified for versions 4.1 and earlier. . )

5. Submit test evidence report and product declaration

6. List complete product information

7. Complete certification and register to become a SIG member

1. Qualification Certification Statement: Qualified Design Listing (QDL);

The form selected when the product has not undergone any form of Bluetooth certification, the company needs to provide samples Conduct Bluetooth technology testing for the laboratory. The testing mainly includes the following aspects:

1) Radio frequency (RF) conformance test;

2) Protocol (Protocol) conformance test;

3) Profile compatibility testing;

4) Declaration of conformity;

5) Review of relevant technical documents.

After the test, the laboratory submits the test report to BQE (Bluetooth Qualification Expert) for review. After the review is passed, BQE will list it on the SIG official website; the test fee depends on the specific Bluetooth version and support profile. It depends on the amount.

2. Product Statement: Product Listing.

If the enterprise has done Bluetooth certification or the Bluetooth module used has been BQB certified, the testing part can be dispensed with. The enterprise can directly purchase the DID from SIG and then list the product.
