The steam-water mixing heater originated from the "Star brand" series steam heater-"Star inline steam heaters for liquids" produced by Japan Beidou Company. The first steam-water mixed heater in China was first developed in 1985, successfully developed in Changsha Radiator Factory in 1987, and applied for a patent in 1988. At the same time, in the Heating and Ventilation Design Manual edited by Lu Yaoqing of China Architectural Northwest Design Institute in 1987, "SEMEM_QSH steam-water mixed heater" was particularly recommended. In 1987 and 1989, it won the major scientific and technological achievement award of the Ministry of Urban and Rural Construction and Environmental Protection and the outstanding new product award of Hunan Province respectively. Based on its outstanding performance and broad market, many domestic manufacturers subsequently copied and sold it.
