(1) Installation preparation

Check the gap between the beam end and the embedded parts, and clean the beam end and top surface. The uneven part of the beam end should be trimmed to set the formwork at both ends, and the top surface of the beam body must be washed clean with water.

(2) The middle of the formwork at both ends of the frame and the middle of the formwork at both ends can be squeezed by hard foam plastic plates, and the rubber plates are placed at the top of the formwork in parallel with the design bottom elevation. Strictly check whether there is slurry leakage gap, and handle it in time to ensure that concrete is not poured into the expansion gap, so as not to affect the horizontal displacement of the beam. Make formwork according to the calculated installation positioning value, drill holes in the center of bolts on both sides, put M 18 anchor bolts into the formwork holes for fixation, and spot weld the formwork holes with pretreated steel bars according to the design requirements. The position deviation between bolts should be less than lmm, and there should be no cumulative deviation. The elevation of the formwork surface shall be the same as the design elevation of the bridge deck, and structural members such as steel angles shall be welded at the same time. Welding can only be carried out after all calibration is completed.

(3) Concrete pouring refers to pouring concrete at the bottom of the telescopic device, and pouring concrete transition sections within 500mm on both sides. The strength grade of concrete should not be lower than C40, and it should be vibrated and compacted when pouring, so as to prevent the cavity and ash inclusion in the structure from affecting the service life of the expansion device.

(4) Dismantle the formwork and the formwork at both ends. After the initial setting of concrete, take out the formwork, chisel off the rigid foam plastic board in the middle of the formwork at both ends, level it with mortar with higher strength grade, and install the rubber board.

(5) Install the rubber plate. After the concrete is dried, apply waterproof sealant on the installation surface, pre-press the rubber plate according to the positioning value, and align the screw holes with the embedded bolts. Tighten the nuts one by one, pay attention to put a waist washer and a spring washer on the bolt, then inject a proper amount of waterproof glue into the bolt hole, and finally add a nut cover flush with the rubber plate.
