The breeding base is located in the Yellow River beach area of Mulou Village, Wangcun Town, Xingyang City, covering an area of 3,376 mu with a total investment of 50 million yuan. According to the demand of healthy, pollution-free and ecological farming, 70% of ecological farming areas and 30% of landscape ecological wetlands will be built in the project area. It mainly includes pollution-free aquatic product breeding, artificial landscape wetland construction, simulated protection of wildlife environment, aquatic vegetable planting and processing, wetland leisure tourism and other projects. The cooperative currently has 3 breeding bases, with 4600 mu of aquaculture water surface, 206 members, 4 managers 16, 4 technicians with senior titles and 2 technicians with intermediate titles 12. The base, operated and constructed by Bangzhong Aquaculture Cooperative, is a comprehensive agricultural enterprise mainly engaged in aquaculture, which has been approved and registered by relevant state departments. Founded in 2009, the cooperative has been designated as a national demonstration zone for bulk aquatic product breeding and an ecological breeding base.

Mulou Village Breeding Base has scientific planning, advanced concept and obvious benefits, and has been designated as one of the four characteristic leisure fishing areas and one of the 20 key leading enterprises in Zhengzhou by Zhengzhou Modern Fishery Planning (20 10-2020). At the same time, it was also selected into Zhengzhou comprehensive experimental base of national freshwater fish industry technology system and commercial fish supply base of Henan aquatic product processing system. 1. Ecological culture area: Yellow River carp, Wuchang fish, Liaodong silver carp, Songpu mirror carp are the main breeding varieties, and sturgeon, rainbow trout and other characteristic aquatic products are tested, and * * * raw fish dishes and * * * lotus root culture mode are adopted to realize healthy and pollution-free culture. 2. Landscape wet area: planting aquatic or swamp trees, emergent plants and floating plants to create a good environment suitable for the growth of aquatic animals, which can not only purify the drainage of aquaculture, but also rescue and protect wild animals. 3. Sightseeing tourist area: Based on ecological farming and landscape wetlands, modern fishery sightseeing projects such as fishing, catering, boating and bird watching will be carried out to expand the extension and connotation of fishery. 4. Office training area: mainly including manager's office, disease detection laboratory, multimedia conference room, fish exhibition hall, etc., which can carry out fishermen's aquaculture technical training and fish aquaculture publicity. 5. Product processing area: The vegetable cleaning workshop will uniformly process, disinfect and package the green pollution-free vegetables collected from standardized fish ponds and landscape wetlands, unify the trademarks, and send them to markets and supermarkets after passing the inspection.
