International sommeliers have successively evaluated Riesling dry white wine, Cabernet Sauvignon dry red wine, General Li Bantian white wine and Pink wine produced by Changyu. The evaluation of the masters is almost the same: all kinds of products have the pure aroma and fruity aroma of typical wines, especially the characteristics of Yantai, China. Experts have a special liking for Yantai's unique climate and soil characteristics, and think that the taste of Changyu wine is beneficial to Yantai's geographical environment.
However, the critical international sommelier's evaluation of Changyu VSOP Gold Brandy is so perfect: very beautiful, with beautiful oak barrel fragrance, delicate and soft body, very harmonious.
As the "finale", Changyu X0 vintage gold brandy pushed this world-class wine tasting to a climax. Shortly after the wine tasting, an international senior sommelier quietly left. The taste of Zhang's gold medal brandy made him have an illusion. He wanted to take a bottle of the same high-quality French brandy as a "contrast wine". As a result, this experienced international wine expert is still puzzled: French wine can't compare with China Changyu wine.
Almost all international tasters praised the brandy produced by Changyu in China for its strong typicality, refreshing aroma, soft and mellow taste and extraordinary quality. Some wine experts said privately, "unbelievable." Li Hongzhang, not many people in China don't know. In modern times, he is sometimes painted as a white face and sometimes as a red face. However, without the approval of adults, there would be no Changyu yesterday and today. You know, Li Hongzhang's name was conspicuous in the photos of Daqing No.1 Liquor Company in 1894.
This adult Li's interest in this is not limited to this. Because he urged you to be the first consul general of the Qing court in Penang and Singapore, in 1897, he recommended Zhang Jun to participate in the preparation of Daqing Bank (the predecessor of Bank of China) as the director general of the bank. What happened afterwards was really dramatic. In 1930s, because Changyu borrowed money from China Bank and was unable to pay, it was taken over by China Bank. It's really a family that doesn't know a family.
1898, when nave made a phone call, Zhang Bishi was summoned by the Qing court and also participated in the lawsuit in North Korea. Later, we got the general office of Guangdong-Han Railway and Guangdong-Foshan Railway. It seems that Li, as the minister of Beiyang, is determined to pull Zhang Jun into the shortlist. Therefore, nave regards Changyu as an unconventional banner of "Beiyang New Deal" and pays more attention to it. For example, Zhang Yuzhunzhao, personally approved by nave, said: "The patent will be granted for fifteen years, and businessmen from Fengtian, Zhili and Shandong provinces, regardless of Chinese or foreign countries, will not be allowed to copy it for fifteen years to avoid usurpation." The Westernization School has a strong monopoly.
Don't say, this Changyu didn't embarrass the adults in the main hall. Not to mention the excellent quality of wine, the market is broad. On one occasion, Zhang Chengqing, the first general manager of the company (Bishi's nephew), was ordered by Bishi to go to Tianjinwei to meet Li Hongzhang, governor of Zhili and minister of Beiyang. The main hall was ordered to meet in the drawing room, only to see Cheng Qingqing dressed in a small hat, acting in front of the hall, talking defiantly and behaving fearlessly, which made the second-and third-class Beiyang officials present look askance. Zhang Chengqing was so powerful that Zhang Yu's remarkable things began with Chairman Mao's clear instructions at a light industry briefing in early 1956. On March 2 this year, the Minister of Light Industry made a routine report to the Central Committee and Chairman Mao. The chairman was very concerned about this report and immediately instructed: "In order to better understand the production work of the ministries and bureaus (referring to the Ministry of Light Industry and the Sugar and Liquor Industry Administration) and their affiliated enterprises, I hope that the ministries, bureaus and enterprises will directly write a production work report to me." Immediately after the meeting, the Minister of Light Industry made arrangements. On March 7th, Cao Lu, Acting Director of Sugar and Liquor Bureau, sent a message to more than 20 sugar and liquor enterprises in China, including Changyu, and issued the instruction of "reporting to the chairman once".
At the end of March, reporter Changyu wrote Chairman Mao a Report on the Production of Yantai Changyu Grape Brewing Company. The report covers Zhang Yu's history, basic situation, existing problems, this year's work plan and future development. When Changyu's report text was placed on the chairman's desk, it caused the chairman to think more deeply about the wine industry. Through the report meeting of sugar, liquor and food industry, he expressed his attitude towards Changyu and China wine industry: "We should vigorously develop grape and wine production and let people drink more wine (originally published in Economic Daily 1984+ 17 February)."
Changyu, a subsidiary of the Liquor Industry Administration of the Ministry of Food Industry, which was established after 1956, started the whole wine industry in China with Changyu as the leader. In recent years, the wine industry in the suburbs of Beijing, Qingxu, Shanxi, Shacheng, Hebei, Suqian, Jiangsu, Quan Min, Zhengzhou and Lankao has mushroomed. Changyu sent skilled craftsmen to various places to help build factories and teach how to make wine barrels. Train skilled workers for brother wineries and teach traditional winemaking techniques by hand. Changyu Brewing University, founded in 1958, has trained more than 40 "top talents" for China wine industry. After spreading to the whole country, it became the backbone of China wine industry. For more than 30 years, Zhang Bishi has achieved amazing success in Nanyang. At its peak, its capital reached 80 million Dutch guilders, and it was known as a billionaire. At this time, his thought of "rejuvenating the country through industry", including the establishment of the first liquor company in China, grew stronger and stronger. The obstacle that can stand in front of him is that it is difficult to invest in China only with capital and without the official status of the Qing court. The opportunity finally came: in the 16th year of Guangxu reign (1890), Gong, the ambassador of the Qing Dynasty, was ordered to inspect the way to enrich the people in Europe and America. When he returned to Bincheng, he specially visited the richest man in Nanyang and his party.
Said to Gong: Westerners are good at giving full play to people's specialties and regulating people's behavior with laws; For the relationship between agriculture, industry and commerce, foreigners have also made some adjustments. Zhang Bishi summed it up as "the business is not prosperous, and the three treasures are the only ones". In a word, the prosperity of Nanyang depends on the strategy of "promoting business and profit" formulated by westerners.
Gong was very excited and then asked, "What strategy did Zhang Jun take to get rich?"
Zhang Bishi replied with a smile: "I am in the Dutch territory, imitating Li Ke and developing land resources; I am optimistic about British territory, following the example of Bai Gui. Therefore, people abandon me and take me, people take me and make peace, can send and receive, choose people and time. At the same time, follow the example of Louis' tactics, Sun Wu's use of troops and Shang Yang's behavior, and follow their resourceful wisdom, courage in decision-making, benevolence, tolerance and perseverance. I often keep this belief, so I become rich. "
After listening to this theory, Gong was full of praise. He took his hand and said, "You are not a businessman, but a world genius. Now China is poor and weak. How about saving the motherland? "
Zhang Bishi has a long-cherished wish of "rejuvenating the country through industry", so he happily replied: "I have been pregnant with this ambition for a long time!"
After Gong returned to China, he was willing to be Bole and recommended it to the court. Zhang was promoted to the first consul of the Qing Dynasty in Penang, Malaysia, and later to the consul general in Singapore.
Since becoming a Red Top businessman, Zhang Bishi got a pass to invest in China, and the idea of establishing a wine company was realized. The first sommelier was Olin of England, who was finally attracted by Zhang Bishi. Russia originally wanted to make a name for itself from Nanyang to Yantai. So, he took his wife and children with him, and brought a small brewing machine, which was a big gift that would never come back. I didn't know that he passed the beach, and his condition was not serious, but he died of a small tooth extraction infection. This should confirm an old saying of China: Toothache is not a disease, but a fatal one.
The second is a Dutch sommelier. Zhang Bishi was introduced to Reid, who claimed to have a national evaluation certificate. Because he is not here, he left his certificate in China, and even Amro's big class proved it, which convinced Zhang Bishi. But the brewing technology can't be fake. During the period of 1895, Rhett did not send the brewed wine samples to Singapore. After the analysis of British and Dutch chemists, he thinks that there is something wrong with the fermentation of wine, and the improper brewing formula is caused by poor technology. When Zhang Bishi hesitated, Uncle Leiden came to Singapore and thoroughly exposed his nephew's "peep show". It turns out that Schleswig-Holstein is not proficient in wine-making doorways, but when he runs wine business with his brother, he has a little skill in fur and copied the theory in the book, so the actual operation is not very clear. Zhang Bishi didn't see the motivation of the person who just filled in the blanks.
At this time, the consul of Austria-Hungary in tobacco recommended himself and was willing to take on this important task. And the prominent family status of Babel in Australia also persuaded Zhang Bishi. It turned out that he was born in Colaos Temo Gaubert, a suburb of Vienna, in 1862, and was a hereditary baron of Franz Josef's family in Austria-Hungary. His father is an expert in grape brewing. He once invented a sugar meter for measuring grapes, which was later called "sugar meter". When Babao was young, he learned how to make wine with his father and made his mark in the wine industry in this country. 1896 came to Changyu as a sommelier, and of course, it was officially recommended by the Austro-Hungarian government. His boldness of vision also shows that he also holds the post of Austrian vice consul in tobacco. The consulate is located in Zhangyumen, so the Austrian flag is often hung at the door of the company. As a result, Changyu became a mysterious place that people could not reach. 184 1 was born in dapu county, Meizhou, Guangdong. Due to the disaster in his hometown, he went to South Asia alone at the age of 18. Starting as an apprentice, he has been engaged in construction, reclamation, minerals, shipping, medicinal materials and other industries, and gradually became rich. In its heyday, its assets ranked first among overseas Chinese businessmen in Nanyang, reaching 80 million guilders, making it a billionaire. After his success, Mr. Zhang Bishi put forward the patriotic thought of rejuvenating the country through industry, and put forward the advanced thought of "attracting investment and revitalizing agriculture, industry, roads and mines" in his memorial to the Qing government. Mr. Zhang Bishi once invested heavily to set up a factory in China, participated in the preparation of Daqing Bank (the predecessor of China Bank) and served as general manager, building railways, etc. , has made great contributions to the development of national industry in China.
Mr. Zhang Bishi devoted his life to education and charity, and was well received by overseas Chinese. During his stay in Nanyang, he served as Consul General of the Qing government in Penang and Consul General in Singapore, and was summoned by the Qing court three times. He was awarded a headdress and was appointed as an official in Taibu Temple. Changyu Brewing Company was established in 1892. During the Republic of China, he served as Prime Minister of Guangdong Chamber of Commerce, Co-President of National Chamber of Commerce, Member of Convention and Law Committee, Senator's participation in politics, and head of the conscription delegation to the United States.
19 12 Dr. Sun Yat-sen visited Changyu Company and wrote an inscription for the company "Liquan in Product". In order to express appreciation for Mr. Zhang Bishi's noble character and praise for Changyu wine, this is the only time that Mr. Zhongshan wrote an inscription for the enterprise.
19 16 died in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Zhang Bishi's former residence in Malaysia, Guangludi, is now the National Museum of Malaysia. There is a weighty name in Changyu's leadership list: Zhu Mei.
Zhu Mei is the first generation grape wine expert in China. In 1930s, he specialized in wine-making in French Pasteur Institute, and later made great contributions to the development of wine and beer industry in China. Why did Zhu Mei come to see Master Changyu? There is still a long way to go.
1934, Changyu Company mortgaged to Bank of China due to excessive debts, and Xu, manager of Yantai Branch, became the general manager. Xu is quite dissatisfied that Changyu's technical strength has always been mastered by foreigners. The sommelier is good at "leaving room", and every time he goes to ferment and blend the secret recipe, he has to excuse the China people present. The more you try to peek, the more wary he is of thieves. He often tears up the trademarks and outer packaging of some important raw materials, which makes you puzzled.
Xu Zeng appealed in Brewing magazine: Why can't a glass of wine be brewed by himself? Why is the right to production in everyone's hands? In order to find China's own brewing talents, he often visited carefully and asked around.
1936, Zhu Mei returned to China, and Shanghai Shen Bao and News immediately published news. Xu was overjoyed when he learned that he immediately rushed to Shanghai and found Zhu Mei through Yan, editor-in-chief of News, and Huang Jiping, reporter of Shenbao.
Zhu Mei was surprised by the unexpected visitor's visit, and he was reluctant to part with Changyu for a while. Instead of being angry, Xu showed excellent manners: "We have breweries and wineries, but the technicians are all foreigners. We hope you can cooperate with us and invite you to work in Yantai. You can go to Changyu first, stay if you can, and come back if you don't want to. We will be responsible for the round-trip fare. "
